a disney day sounds good. shame, i'll prolly go back to school after Detour.
it's in my back yard too- by which i mean it's down the street from where i live. let's make that clear.

August @ Disneyland is terrible...Too hot, and everyone trying to go before school starts again

October is alright, it probably won't rain until December, if it does at all this year

what a fantastic idea!! I think I will still be on vacation then.
My Coachella buddy and I were just talking about how we wanted to go to
Disneyland this year. Do I have to wear red though?. It's not a good color
    for me.

    Wish I could make this.

Don't choose a date until you know if the fireworks are playing, and make sure they're called "Remember" and not the Christmas ones. Seriously, I'm a big Disneyland fan and trust me when I say you need to go on a night when the fireworks are playing. A Sunday is probably good but double check, yeah?

If the park is closing at 11 (won't know until they post the times for October), good chance of the night sky being lit up. If James is going on at the HOB around 10, it would be a great way to enter the show.

Yes. The original intent of a Sunday was for a less crowded day of the weekend; and Detour is on that Saturday....if the 5th is the day.

I will probably convince my roommates to go with me to this. We wanted to go anyway (we're all new to Cali) so we might as well go when other people are there and there's something going on.

When i was about 14 or 15, i was about to go in the main gate when security stopped me and said "You can't go in with that shirt."

    "How come?"

"We put on the show here, not you."

"How am I putting on a show?"

"Your shirt is offensive. You can't wear that in the park."

"How is this offensive?" pointing to my CircleJerks shirt.

    "Circle Jerk is offensive."

"What's a CircleJerk? I don't know what a CircleJerk is. Can you explain it to me?"

He said i could turn the shirt inside out if i wanted to go in. i did. But like a smart ass kid, disrespected the agreement and turned it right side out after i got in.

This sounds like a marvelous idea. I am only a few miles away and October is high time to go to this event. So, I would join if this thing really goes down.

Wait, the band James is playing?

I'm leaning towards no on this. I'm going to plan to go to Disneyland on spring break next year, and I can't really afford to take the family until then. Economic downturn and all. Really wanna go though.
