That site is amazing. Thanks for sharing.
Come on England!
Theo Walcott the hat-trick hero! Where is that with an Arsenal shirt on?
I fucking missed the game cos I had a swimming lesson! bollox
Seems like we played well against 10 men. I bet the papers are still going to blow sunshine up the boys arses. Why did Fat Frank's goal get disallowed? Was it because it never rebounded off someone's arse first?
Crapello has learnt 1 thing. Stick with what works, last game Theo played well as did Cole. PLayed them again and they start to make things happen. It ain't rocket science is it?
Glad to see Theo did well. He is one of the few on the squad that has true game breaking speed. Hopefully, this performance will finally earn him a permanant spot.
the good thing about this result is that Bilic may quite and join Wet Spam and thus meaning that Steve Clarke and Zola stay in the wings for Chelsea come 5 years or so.
Rooney is playing very well also... he's playing like a true playmaker...
Croatia still misses Eduardo, plus playin' with 10 men, should of been a more equal match, had both squads been at full force...
Portugal Vs Denmark; game was at 1 0 in favor of portugal when I stopped watching it...
Arsenal miss Eduardo. With him out theres no depth up front, dangerous with the glass man Van Persie.
The US team is dominating Trinidad & Tobago. As it should be.
2-0 36 min.
I only saw the first two goals. It was pretty much over then. What I want to see from the US is that same domination on the road. For whatever reason, they ae a different team away from the US.
Caught the last 10 minutes of the Mexico-Canada match, too. Nice win for the Southern boys.
I only think if Mexico was in CONMEBOL how many world cups would Mexico be in... thanks to our geographic location our league is the CONCACAF, which the only team, IMO, where the rivalry is fair is against the US... anyway anyhow...
Newcastle owner Mike Ashley knows how to party. And he scored some serious points at a New York nightspot this week, reportedly spending $200K in one night, buying bubbly for everyone from Deion Sanders to a couple of Entourage guys.
Yeah, heard about that. The guy can party, but he doesn't no jack about football.
ha ha ha ha
who needs Robinho? His goal bounced off someone's arse and went in. A Lucky fluke.
Chelsea fucking ripped Man City apart. It's gonna be Liverpool and Chelsea for the title this year. I think Keane was a massive massive buy for them.
KINSHASA , Congo -- At least 11 people were killed in a stadium riot in eastern Congo after a soccer player tried to use witchcraft to win a local match, U.N.-backed Radio Okapi reported on Monday.
Nyuki club was losing to local rivals Socozaki on Sunday when Nyuki's goalkeeper advanced up the field and tried to use "fetishist" spells to turn the tide of the match, Okapi said, without giving more details.
When a police commander tried to break up an ensuing brawl between rival players, members of the crowd pelted him with rocks, the radio added.
Police fired teargas in response, causing a stampede to the exits in which 11 people were killed and several injured, Okapi said.
As elsewhere in Africa, many Congolese hold traditional animist beliefs and use spells, fetishes and charms to practise witchcraft, often combined with other religions like Christianity or Islam.
Sunday's riot happened in Butembo, in North Kivu province, where fighting between the army and rebels has raged on despite the official end of a 1998-2003 war that has killed an estimated 5.4 million people through violence, hunger and disease.
Soccer and witchcraft do not mix.
I wouldn't doubt it!
Wasn't able to see any of the games on Saturday. Played in a company golf tourney...suffice it to say, when I saw the 2-1 loss to Hull, I shut off my computer, and reached for a beer.
A long season, just got longer.
New big 4 in the Prem...Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal.......and Hull City!
Good start for both Liverpool and Chelsea in the CL today. Especially Chelsea. 4-0 crushing of Bordeaux.
Indeed. The Blues looked unstoppable. Without Drogba and Essien no less.
Man U will be in the Prem. mix at the end. Lets remember they have the best player in the world coming back and added Berbatov. Once they gel, that attack is even more deadly.
*Crossing fingers for Van Persie to stay healthy for the season*
*Crossing fingers for Eduardo to come back*...
Arsenal Vs Dynamo Kiev... should be a good one... although for the group I'm expecting to be the best match up Arsenal Vs Fernerbache...
Lampard played a blinder, has to be said. He only ever get slagged off. Gerrard scored a wonder goal.
I'm hoping Man U get stuff and that AIG collapses.
Would love to see Man U bow out early. Not holding my breath, though.
Liverpool continues to JUST get by opponents. Wonder if their luck will run out at some point.
As much as i hate to say it (being an Evertonian), Liverpool looked pretty decent last night, and missed a lot of easier chances than the one (and one penalty)they put away. Defensively they need some work, but going forward they are on great form.
Do any of you guys know the effect that the bankruptcy of AIG will have on Man U given that the US government will loan 80 billion dllrs. and they will own 79% of the company??
They are only the shirt sponsor, so they'll just get another one. I can't see it as a huge hassle (and i'm pretty sure they ask for the sponsorship money up front). It's already happened to West Ham this season and doesn't seem to have changed anything.
