I have some time to kill this afternoon and that sounds like a good way to do it. Thanks.
3 points!! Newcastle finally won again...I forgot what that is like. 3-0 defeat of Portsmouth, at Fratton Park. Solid win.
This blows... Cesc out ffor 3 to 4 months, knee injury!... fak!
Big blow. Things continue downhill for Arsenal.
I'm fucking heartbroken....Cesc has been my favorite player for several years, how disappointing....they can barely field a midfield now!!!
they're gonna need to make a major signing or 3 in the transfer window now to avoid a tremendous freefall in the league table...not sure if Wenger has it in him though

Haven't heard a lot on the rumor front. I do know that Owen had decided to go through the rest of the season at Newcastle. I'm hopeful, with a strong finish, he will decide to stay.
Sky Sports was reporting 2 days ago that Arsenal were going hard after Arshavin and Tevez, although I don't really see Utd selling Tevez to Arsenal
I love watching Owen, i hope he stays at Newcastle as well

I do as well. Yes, he is oft injured. When he plays, he scores. Plain and simple.
I hope Viduka starts to get more playing time. I still believe their best lineup consists of Owen up top, supported by Martins and Viduka.
that little heel flick pass by Viduka to Duff in the 90th minute against Spurs over the weekend was great

Yikes. Reds destroyed my boys, 5-1. Newcastle is like a MASH unit right now.
Gerrard got into a scrap after the debacle:

Wenger wants to make moves, but worried about cash:

EDIT: Losing Cesc, along with Walcott and Rosicky is a huge blow to the midfield. I can see why he wants to add to that.

/\ when you put it so eloquently, how could anyone disagree?

Go Gunners!
Yeah, what he said!
(But seriously, please finish in the top four)
Rumor going about that Wegner is targeting N'Zogbia from Newcastle. In a way, it makes sense:
1. He is French.
2. With the logjam in the midfield at Newcastle, N'Zogbia is expendable.
3. With all the injuries of the Arsenal mids, they need help immediately.
4. He won't cost that much, so the tight budget won't be a factor.
Thoughts Gunner fans?
'99-'11...
Wow. That would be surprising, based on the previous lack of funds reports.
interesting... although I still have difficulty seeing it happening...although the Gunners need to do something if they have any hopes of finishing top four...
with a midfield consisting of Nasri,Denilson, Diaby, Song, Eboue...it doesn't inspire a ton of confidence
you need strikers? you can have Bendtner!

That routine is getting very old very quickly. Close out games already!
At this point anything will help. We look lost in midfield without Cesc. He's one of those players that I didn't fully appreciate his impact until his absence.
Doesn't this always seem to be the case? And while we're on the subject, Nasri needs to step it up a bit. He hasn't been making a big enough impact lately.
conceding extremely late goals has cost them several points so far, with a couple of games that they should have won, they would be right in the thick of things surprisingly...
I love Cesc, he brings an intensity to the team that they sometimes lack...I think Spain is beginning to realize that now too
Nasri is very good, but definitely inconsistent so far, I still have high hopes for him, maybe not as a focal point of the midfield, but with a few stronger players around him, I think he will shine

No mention of Steven Gerrard being arrested yesterday for assault. Couldn't happen to a nicer chap. Well, if you will go clubbing in Southport.

Agreed all around.
I can think of points of the top of my head. (Villa and Suprs)
