Oh man, that is huge for Man City, Nery Castillo needs to stay after the deal with Real Betis went sour... I guess this is the first time that I see a big name player snub Chelsea or Man U... Awesome!!!...

Fuck, Berbatov has just signed with Man U... now that team is fully loaded... fuck... now it's gonna be a race between Chelsea and Man U only... will be exciting to watch... wish that Arsenal would pull one of these signings...
*sigh*
Yeah, I know Arsenal just ran riot on Newcastle but they're walking a fine line in the midfield and even up front until Eduardo returns, but mainly the midfield. Without Cesc they looked a wholly different team, and not good.
It will be interesting to see how much Berbs plays. They already have Tevez and Rooney up front.
I'm going to need a moment or two alone boys...
If this is indeed true, the season is finished only 3 matches in.
funny how everyone is loving the fact that Man City now has loads of cash from foreign owners but when Roman took over everyone slated us (and still do)
at least Roman is still there, wasn't the Chinese owner of Man City supposed to give them buckets of cash and make them a top 4 team etc? SAme with the biscuit baron and West Ham and where's he now?
biased anti-London Premiership
No worries Downingthief, Keegan is stayin' in Newcastle...
World cup qualifiers coming up, is the U.S. playin'??
Mexico has Jamaica, Brazil Chile and Argentina Paraguay (This should be a good one, Paraguay defeated Brazil 2 0 back in june)...
Keegan's gone mate. Quit another job! To be honest, he's not as good a manager as he was the time he was there before. They need someone like Mancini or Lippi. Manager with a big presence.
The difference with Man City is now they're back by royal oil money, not biscuits. If the funds available are even close to the speculation we're looking at a big 5 in the Premiership. They're looking to put together another superteam.
What they need is new ownership. Rumors floating around now that Ashley might sell, but I am not holding my breath.
Getting a new manager like Mancini or Lippi won't help, unless the board is willing to give more control back to the manager. If not, don't expect a big name to come in.
Sad days ahead. One thing is for sure, Ashley won't be downing any pints among the Geordies any time soon!
Couldn't give a monkeys mate, Geordie fans are deluded. They wanted King Kev to come back and he's quit every job he's been at once the going gets tough. I'm surprised they haven't been taken over but then saying that Ashley is a billionaire. They shouldn't have sacked their last 3-4 managers after the odd bad spell and give them at least a year. They want Alan Shearer but that just shows are stupid the fans are.
On a completely different subject, England play Andorra tomorrow night. 7pm here. Are you Yanks gonna watch it and cheer on England? Good, cos the bloody English won't be. Capello has learnt nothing. Beckham should be dropped for a fucking start. Plus Rooney, Lamps, Ferdinand.
The only player who gives a shit is Joe Cole. Be interesting to see how Bullard does if he gets on the pitch. But he should have been tested during friendlies.
I don't blame him for leaving in this case at all. Top flight managers have say in all things transfer related, and I think KK has proven he knows what he is doing on that end. There is no doubt in my mind that the team was headed in the right direction with him at the helm.
That being said, I do agree that the most recent sackings (Sir Bobby specifically) were horrible miscalculations. I wasn't happy about Big Sam being sent off either, but that was Ashley's doing.
It takes super sub Joe Cole to get the only two goals for England? I didn't see the game but it seems like thats not a good enough result against Andorra. What happened?
And France losing while conceding 3 goals to Austria?! Pathetic. That coach needs to be sacked.
I don't think anyone saw it, as it was on pay per view over here, as will be the case with all other England away games. I had text commentary on my mobile, and from what i can gather we improved as the game went on - Joe Cole came on for the 2nd half and got two. Also one goal disallowed for offside. Andorra didn't even had one shot on target.
'99-'11...
Capello has learnt nothing
the only good thing is becks got his 100th cap and we can move on now
Bravo for the US. It was our first match in Cuba since 1947.
The match was historic but it was 90+ minutes of forgettable err meh soccer.
I actually really enjoyed the US/Cuba game. The only bad part is the picture quality was awful. I imagine Cuba doesnt have the nicest cameras...
I just need the Premiership back..FSC and the incredible WC Qualifiers Bahrain v Japan, Belarus v Ukraine, Iran v Saudi Arabia & Denmark v Hungary killed me this weekend!
'99-'11...
I tried to get into a few of them, but none of them were very compelling
'99-'11...
The Italy Vs. Cyprus game was interesting... Also the France Vs. Austria was cool too... Seeing France struggle was fun to watch...
I didn't get to watch any footie this weekend. Sucks.
Meanwhile, the soap opera that is NUFC continues.
