Don't even get me started on the penalty. He just flopped to the side like a school boy.

Someone had to say it. These keepers have been stinking up the pitch. Thank God they all decided to play a child's game for a living rather than try those bungling hands at brain surgery, or worse.

Do you beat your spouse or partner senseless when your team gets knocked out of the World Cup?

THe craziest part of the Suarez bite is his reaction immediately afterwards, he throws his hands up to his face and his body language appears to say "OH FUCK I CAN'T BELIEVE I BIT SOMEBODY AGAIN!!"

and then he is sitting on the grass grabbing his teeth as if to say "WHY, WHY DID YOU MAKE ME DO THIS!"

Chiellini is a dirty player. He must have been pushing Suarez around to cause him to lash out. And Suarez has this switch that just causes him to react instinctively and without reason. You can't rehab a brain like that.

What kind of punishment do you guys think is fair for Cannibal Suarez?

Personally I wish he isn't punished. Let it go. More dangerous when you slide at a guys knees on purpose. At most, misses the next match.

I think it's fair to say he doesnt belong in a tournament as prestigious as this.

Are you fucking serious about not punishing him? It's completely inexcusable and he deserves a lengthy ban - longer than the 8 games he got for the last time.

He won't play again in this WC regardless of how far Uruguay get, that much is for sure. What I'm most curious about is if his suspension will just be for international games (which I think it will) or if it extends to all professional matches (internationals and games for the domestic league).

The guy is a top 5 player at worst. He belongs. For the plain sake of competition. You want the best of the best in the world going at it going at it.

Shame when a players like Ibrahimovic or Falcao get the short end and arent part of the World Cup.

I don't care how talented he is, that kind of behavior has absolutely no place in any match let alone the WC. This is supposed to be a worldwide celebration of a game many love, and instead of talking about what an absolutely wonderful and entertaining tournament it has been so far we're talking about the petulant actions of a serial cheat.

First, we don't even know if he actually did bite. According to Suarez, he bumped his shoulder into his face. That happens. Let's not jump to conclusions because of past behavior or big teeth. For all we know, could be a misunderstanding. His teeth could've hit him on the shoulder but nothing else. Also, we see other players kick, punch in the nuts, slide into knees obviously on purpose, and get a red card and that's it. Let's say he did bite him. It's more dangerous when you throw a flying knee to the back of someone's head like Balotelli did yesterday. All he got was a yellow card. That's it. What? Only difference is that the ball was near them? That makes it ok? I don't know. There's some grey areas here.

precisely, that matter of intent can be justified when going for a ball that is in loose possesion, in know way do set piece tie ups in the 18' box constitute any form of teeth on skin. a clear infraction like holding a players shirt or throwing an elbow or a trip on a free kick will warrant a caution before a free kick is taken whether or not those two players were bickering and being physical throughout the game. But a bite, direct mouth to shoulder contact, before a ball is anywhere near, IMO warrants a red card and a severe suspension on the first infraction, and this was not his first incident with his chompers, the man has a reputation with his teeth. He desreves a Ban from the tournament and if any Club still wants him let him tarnish a beautiful game, let him, but not on the stage of all stages. take that hungry hippos shit back to Liverpool.

Ive been a certified soccer official in nevada for only 3 years now, so my knowledge doesnt run that deep. But fuck Luis Suarez, and anyone trying to defend that lunatics actions, could very well be as lost as the perpatrator himself.

I am in the camp where there are a lot more dangerous tackles and antics that go on in games that make a bite on the shoulder seem less deplorable. I'd even say that Dempsey's kick to the face was more egregious in that the kick had no place in making a play on the ball and no card was given. Still, FIFA has to fine and suspend Suarez for the bite as he is a repeat offender and to protect their brand.

Listen guys. If his teeth hit his shoulder when they bumped, that ok. It happens. His teeth do stick out forward so I can see how giglinni thought it was a bite when they bumped. It comes down on whether he chomped down on the shoulder though. If they can prove that, he's guilty. Match the marks with the teeth. If it don't fit, acquit.

Well that was an unfortunate game for Ecuador. Argentina should have a tough game against the Swiss and their army knives. France should walk through Nigeria.
