The homophobia definitely is the worst part of watching Mexico. I mean, I laughed at first, but really now.

When balls fly near my mouth I deflect them with my tongue.

Let us know if you can react in time, AND properly to where the ball was going to end up. You need to watch the replays that show the camera angle from BEHIND THE NET. At that speed, nobody is gonna stop that.

We need an espn segment with Algunz giving us analysis, everyone would be dumber.

It was a fucking great goal. But Howard did not extend his arm. He let it pass right over his hand. Yes it's fast, but as a goalie you protect your space like a bear coming at you.

And the ball totally came from half field. The moment Ronaldo had it Howard knew where it was. Everybody, but Howard, saw that coming.

I would like to see these.

Can you also show me the ones that Ochoa stopped in the match against Brazil?

Looking forward to the Azzurri vs Uruguay tomorrow. Fingers crossed the blues can pull it out by stifling Suarez. Let's go, Italia!

I will be wearing my AC Milan shirt. It's the closest I can get to an Italian jersey.

Come on Gunz no Keeper in the world is going stop that second goal. I know you hate Howard and all but seriously nothing he could have done. As for the Nani goal what is he supposed to so, not react to the fake so instead of faking it Nani just goes far post and scores, or react like he did and Nani still scores.

You have to defend Howard a bit here. Blocking a one-timed shot at near point blank range at that speed is incredibly difficult, even if the ball is within reach. Look at any other goal in football that's taken at close range, whether it be by foot or head. You have practically no reaction time; it's really a matter of hoping that you're already in the right place, which is the pending trajectory of the shot. Ochoa had a great game against in Brazil, but a couple of those big saves were just a matter of him being in the right place at the right time (and deciding to come off the goal line when necessary).

Also, remember that Howard did have that one amazing save that was the rebound off the sidebar. I think it was 1st half? He was already down but managed to spring high enough to tip a volley just over the crossbar rather than going in the net. Now THAT was a save.

i expect Chile to possess the ball at about 58% and pass with about 73% accuracy.

That kind of style is going to really frustrate Brazil.

He's notorious for doing this. Why choose this moment to change his MO? I get that he still probably would have missed the shot, but I think he made some mistakes. This place is like the Beygency. Apparently Howard can do no wrong.

This was a great save after he lucked out with the pole.

Italy is going to protest to FIFA big time on that. If that really was the second time he's bitten someone, then he deserves a pretty severe punishment.

Can we talk about how Barry did a shitty job of not blocking Greece's shot on goal? WHY DIDN'T HE PUT HIS HANDS EXACTLY WHERE THE BALL WAS GOING?
