From wikipedia:
In 2007, Richard Lloyd announced he would be amicably leaving the band after a midsummer show in New York City's Central Park.[8] Unfortunately, owing to an extended stay in hospital recovering from pneumonia, he was unable to take his place with the band for this concert. His place that day was taken by Jimmy Rip. Rip has since been asked to stay on as a band member replacing Lloyd, and, as of December 2007, the group has been busy recording a new record.
So I'd say.. yeah, why not? They seem like the type of underdog Coachella likes to pick. (I don't mean that negatively)
I'll enlighten everyone

I reccomend you listen to the whole clip as it is ot just about the vocals (be it not that clear) but good instrumentation as well
PS half of this is improving, its not the studio version
And here is the lyrics in case you can't understand
I remember the light of darkness doubled,
I recall lightning struck itself,
I was listenin', listenin' to the rain,
I was hearin', hearin' someone else.
I'm in the high point of my night, I feel so impressive, life,
All this time with the Marquee Moon, but just waitin'.
I spoke to the man down at the tracks,
And I asked him how he don't go mad,
He said: "Look here, junior, don't you be so happy,
And for Heaven's sake, don't you be so sad."
I'm in the high point of my night, I feel so d(?)st impressive life,
All this time with the Marquee Moon, hesitating.
Well, a Cadillac, it pulled out of the graveyard,
Pulled up to me, oh they said, "get in, get in".
Then this Cadillac, it puttered back into that graveyard,
Me, I got out again.
I'm in the high point of my life, I feel so impressive, life,
All this time with the Marquee Moon, but I ain't waitin', uh-uh.
I remember how the darkness doubled, I recall lightning struck itself,
I was listenin, listenin' to the rain, I was hearin', hearin', something else.
Thank you for looking! Please keep the criticism a little down if you have any!Television, formed in New York City in 1973, is an American rock music band. Although Television never achieved more than the tiniest cult audience in their American homeland, they achieved significant commercial success in Europe and today are widely regarded as one of the key founders of punk rock.
Television was a part of the early New York punk rock scene, contemporary with bands like the Patti Smith Group and the Ramones. In contrast to the Ramones' focus on minimalist amateurism, Television's music was much more technically proficient, defined by the dueling guitars of Tom Verlaine and Richard Lloyd. In retrospect, Television pointed beyond punk rock to new wave and post punk.
I'm all for it.
