Yeah, I've talked to a lot of die-hard fans who say that Adore is actually their favorite SP album.

9/20 - Crosby, Stills & Nash - Santa Barbara Bowl
    9/21 - Caetano Veloso - Hollywood Bowl (?)
9/26 - William Basinski - Pasadena Arts Council
    9/28 - Bob Mould - Roxy (?)

Machina one has it's moments, as does Adore, but neither hold a candle to Mellon Collie, much less Siamese Dream.
    Upcoming Shows:
    * Dillon Francis + Anamanaguchi -- December 28th

Going to Weekend 1 of Coachella 2014

I loved Adore. It is what got me into them in the first place. I even went as far as really enjoying Machina 1 (one of the few). Since then though, not too good. It is a shame that any good vibes I had about the band have at this point been smacked out of me, shat upon, and nuked by Billy the last few years.

Apparently in the article he talks about his disgust towards Animal Collective.

This should be interesting, to say the least.

I do. I also downloaded the entire 100 something song B-Sides collection when they mis-priced it for a few days on iTunes for $9.99.

Love the whole set. Has some of the best SP songs
Set the Ray to Jerry, Pennies, Transformer, Cherry, Ugly, Aeroplane Flies High, Meladori Magpie etc. etc.

    Adore is a beautiful album.

Mayonaise might be my favorite SP song though. Speaking of Siamiese Dream, Space Boy is amazing.

    2. Cherub Rock
    3. Where Boys Fear to Tread

    Honorable Mention:

United States - I'm sorry, I know this album blows, but this song fucking SLAYED at the show I saw them play.

Nice. I tried desperately to get tickets to that show. They released MAIS that night at midnight following the show. I was in line at Tower Records waiting for the release and some record label people who were all dressed up asked us what we thought of the show because we had radios on and it was broadcasted live as well.

I saw SP at Lollapalooza and it was not very memorable as most of the Lolla shows I saw weren't because I was in the lawn. I saw them back to back nights at the Rosemone Horizon on that MAIS tour and that was pretty fucking great but my favorite show was when Adore came out and I saw them at Summerfest up in Milwaukee. It was the closest I had ever been and the banter between Jimmy and Billy was always pretty funny. There was usually some sort of baseball reference thrown into it.

I love Pastichio Melody. The 23 minute long track of riffs they didn't use. Some of this shit would have made for great songs. I would have loved to have been around sitting in the studio while they were writing for Mellon Collie.

Yeah, I have it. And it's awesome. I love when a band hits such a stride that the B-sides are A-side quality.

    Agreed.

Good call on "Hummer", Tallguy. Top 3 for me would be something like:

    1. Hummer
    2. Muzzle
    3. Siva

Too many honorable mentions to count.

Yeah I went all the way to Chicago without a ticket to the show. I ended up getting one for $30 right before the show.
