Money - The Shadow of Heaven.
Apologies if this is already on here but I went back a month and didn't see it...

Patrick, are you use uTorrent? If so, maybe run the Setup Guide under "Options" and see if that helps at all.
Soul, may be a silly question but do you have the What Toolbox uploading? I have a Mac but have the Windows one for seeding purposes only and have gotten a decent amount of ratio from it. Although, in general I have the same issues of all torrents seeding and no action despite 24 hours of being accessible. Recently, if I jump on a torrent quickly after it's uploaded I get the most action off of those, although I'm sure you do that as well, but it's been working for me. I had been avoiding downloading until my current torrents seeded me a bit of ratio breathing space but when I got more aggressive with my downloading I saw better yield in regards to uploads.
Yeah, first thing I downloaded, but I've gotten hardly anything off it. It's a 400MB file and it's only uploaded 440MB since like November, when I joined. It's definitely something to do specifically with that tracker as stuff from the porn tracker I use uploads like gangbusters (and granted, that's video files, so there's more to be uploaded, but almost all of those files have a higher upload to download ratio, where many of my music files might not even reach half). I did kind of screw myself by moving a ton of stuff from my download folder because it was driving me crazy having so much stuff totally disorganized (it'd be so goddamned nice if they would enforce a folder naming protocol), but like I said, I still have 740 albums seeding, so it's not like it's nothing at all. And I've recently been avoiding downloading older stuff unless it's a box and getting it off Soulseek instead, using ? just for releases current to this year and jumping on new releases as quickly as possible. I get burned like that some times too, though, with it being a transcode or something else and the thing ends up getting replaced and I'm stuck with an unseedable album.
Badass black metal album leaked today:
A.M.S.G. - Anti-cosmic Tyranny
There's sax on it.
I'll be in Napa til Sunday, but if no one gets it in there before then I'll put it up when I get back. I fucking dig it. Very few blast beats and some great riffs.

That is odd. Is it because it is so jarring and difficult to find the groove? I can agree to a certain extent especially when it comes to really techy shit that you just can't follow the rhythm of, but I think in black metal and certain portions of death metal that shit works great.
I just think it sounds neutered. Maybe it works live, but on record, all it sounds like is "click, click, click, click." If metal is supposed to be this ferocious lumbering beast that overpowers you, the drums can't sound tinny and clicky. And yeah, I guess I like most of my music to have a little bit of a groove. It's probably the same reason I don't listen to fucking gabber or whatever, and can only listen to drill'n'bass in very small portions. You speed the rhythm section up too much and it just becomes this really boring blur.

Can we get Factory Floor grouped??
Superfan will be in front of the Fonda masturbating furiously to a photo of him taking a photo of a band. Set is from 8:05 to approximately 8:05:15. Guest list only.
Ditto on factory floor. Also, SISU - Blood Tears, anyone?
4/8 Summer Camp @ Echo, 4/11-13 Coachella, 4/17 SISU, Dum Dum Girls @ Roxy, 4/27 Ghost B.C. @ Fonda, 4/30 Mono @ Troubadour, 5/3 I Break Horses @ Bootleg Theater, 5/28-6/1 Primavera Sound, 6/4 Nisennenmondai @ Jazzhouse, 6/18-22 Sled Island
Julie Ruin is on NPR First Listen. And Factory Floor is the shit.
No problem. I always forget about First Listen when I'm combing for new music.
