I reckon I'm gonna have a hard time getting into this one. With only having heard one of their songs before, I watched them on Conan last week and they were annoying as fuck to watch. The facial expressions of the singer were nauseating, and they just seemed like hipster soul...not much below the surface and rather gimmicky. I'll give the album a chance though, hopefully I'm wrong.

Big Boi/Killer Mike - 5/20 - Rialto Theatre
The Black Angels - 5/22 - Hotel Congress
Devo - 5/24 - Rialto Theatre
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - 5/30 - Rialto Theatre
Mark Lewis & Jeff Witscher - Gait Analysis
ASC - Boundary Scan [2012] [EP]
Blu & Madlib - UCLA
Cover is borderline bannable.
Apparently it was streaming all last night and suddenly disappeared. I highly enjoyed their single, Jesus.
The link I have is broken. Can we get it grouped?
Bruce Springsteen - Wrecking Ball [2012]
I can't group it because it's only on ? right now (and only 256kps at that). But, if you don't have an account, just give it a few hours and it will populate to all the usual places.
probably too short for a good read.
the overall aesthetic is expected (it sounds like a lopatin vs. giffoni record)
the second song (on first listen) is far superior to the first.
i get the sense that giffoni is a little uncertain of what to do with the "software sound" and thus the record is a bit "80's synth-driven cheesy-industrial hard-core", but by the end of the record i can see the "potential" (this could be a pun in reference to Pete Swanson).
i'm hesitant, but i want more??

"All of you coachella 'regulars' have nasty boy pussies and itchy dick4's on your asses.
Why don't you all make like a tree and get chopped down and die. You all have been dreadfully mean to me.
I Hate you. All of you. None of you will ever get to see a womans chest meat or finger blast hott cougies like me.
Fuck you all. Consider this my resignation.
Fair the well, you elitest scumbags."

agreed re Giffoni. i enjoyed the No Fun Acid stuff a lot... not entirely convinced by the 12", but I'm on board for the next step.
I'm not familiar with the band, but I'm pretty sure I've seen their name thrown around here a few times before.

Oooooh!
Chris, Dirty Three are an instrumental band featuring Warren Ellis of various Nick cave projects (Grinderman, Bad Seeds, movie scores, etc) playing violin and otherwise being awesome. You'd probably like it.
