You are seriously retarded. Sharks had zero scoring chances through the first half of the game. Sharks did not play fine. That doesn't mean I am insinuating Kings didn't play well. Quick made some great saves here and there but wasn't really tested tonight. Kings played well, but the Sharks didn't play well because of the Kings, they just didn't play well.

Yeah we're technically on the brink but most people that have been watching this entire series have an uneasy feeling it's going to a game 7.

Let us lose game 6 before we worry about game 7. That being said yeah we are probably going to lose game 6 so I am right there with you.

Also sort of shocked Detroit is up 3-1 over Chicago. They are reminding me of the kings last season. I guess it's only fitting they are one game away from the Western Championship round seeing as it's their last season in the west.

Ran across my mind as well. But been living out of a suitcase most of May and needing some home time a this point. Although... maybe an LA Live/ESPN Zone run for tomorrow is in order?

Game 7. Can't afford a listless performance a la game 5. Have a feeling Patty is getting the game winner, but Niemi has to hold the Kings to 1 goal or less for us to have a chance.

well shit. obviously Niemi replaced the net with one that was a half inch too small with all those posts!

I sure hope the Kings can keep that staples magic going!

It's all about the Bruins-Penguins now, folks.

Yeah, they got Sid the Kid but we got ourselves a KRUUUUUUUUUG.

Aside from falling on his ass and allowing that fluke goal in game 4 vs NYR, Rask has been stellar. Bruins got the hot goalie in this one.

I'll take Jagr over Iginla, Tuuka over Vokoun or Fleury, anf the Merlot line over the Penguins 3rd or 4th line.

    Bruins in 7.

Watching game 7. I like Sutter so I'm cheering for the Kings but of course my heart is with Iginla and the Pens when the series starts against Boston.

I know Quick has been the best goalie in the NHL 2 years running now but c'mon Sharks try and spare yourselves the embarrassment of getting shutout for the 3rd time this series and make this a fucking game.

Neimi really prevented that second period from being a lot worse then it could have been for the Sharks.

He sure did. The only chance the Sharks have now is to hope that the Kings take a page out of the Sharks playbook and play the 3rd period not to lose instead of playing to win. Who am I kidding this is the defending Stanley Cup champs, they know exactly what to do to finish this team off.

Congrats, no shame in losing game 7 on the road to the best goalie in the league. Only team left that can stop you guys now is the Pens. Most telling stat of the series is probably the 3rd and 4th line scoring between the Sharks and the Kings, Sharks had 0 goals this series from their 3rd/4th while the Kings had 4 goals. You just don't advance in the playoffs without those lines contributing somewhat. Maybe next year sharts, maybe never.

Congrats to the Sharks on an excellent season. Neimi stood on his head tonight but it wasn't enough.

Waiting now for Chi or Wings. Gotta say I think Blackhawks can do this but don't count Wings out. Either will be a tough customer. I believe schedule is if Wings win, we go at home on Friday. If Hawks win, on the road starting Saturday.

    Go Kings!

I thought the sharks were for sure going to tie it up after they got the goal. Then Quick made that save and then I knew Kings were going to win. If they couldn't get it past Quick on that then there was no way they were going to score on him again. Neimi also played a hell of a game/series.

Chicago fans are probably not very happy....

I want this game to go several OTs. Kinda rooting for Detroit just to avoid the crappy scheduling in Chicago (seriously, back to back games for games 1 and 2 in the conference finals??) and so the Kings can hold onto home ice.

Like last night's game, this thing is high stress. Can't believe they waved off that goal. I just need a winner soon so I can plan my schedule around home games.

    Here we go OT.

Bruins - Redwings would be fun fun fun.

They move into our neighborhood next season.

I'm torn, on one hand I really hate the Red Wings so I want them to lose, but on the other hand home court advantage sounds real nice.

Kinda rooted for the Hawks after refs waved off that goal. Looks like back to back on Sat/Sun in Chicago. Bring em on!
