The Flyers power play was so bad during the last month or so that by the end of the regular season, I was yelling at them to start declining penalties. However, in game seven against the Sabres, they tried a pass-shoot strategy that worked better than their pass-pass-pass-pass-pass-pass-pass-turnover power play strategy they had been using.

I didn't watch enough of the Pens games in the playoffs to see what their power play problem was, but I thought the Flyers definitely suffered from overpassing there for a while.

A big problem for the pens was zone entrance. Either letang or kovy would try to stick handle through 3 guys on the blue line and turn it over. They needed to dump and chase and I think they really missed Matt Cooke. Even with Crosby, this team scores a lot of goals of the rush or transitional play. I wish they could be like the wings with their passing and puck possession.

PP was predictable and tampa blocked a ton of shots. Oh well. Shero really needs to get a winger. I still have hope that Crosby will make Neal better. I don't think Neal is too good at creating on his own. Wicked shot though.
