So here's the thing that's sticking in my craw. The Chicago press, and to follow form some of the national press, is going apeshit bezerk over Raffi Torres nailing Hossa in game 3. But what they fail to acknowledge, every single one of them, is that the Blackhawks, as a team, left Hossa (and Toews and whoever else) exposed when they decided the only way they could win the series was by hitting our goalie in the face.

Game 2, thug Brian Shaw sees Mike Smith out of the box, and comes over and nails, just totally nails, Smith in the face. It was the dirtiest play I've seen in the NHL this year, but the press ignores it. Shaw got a 3 game suspension, which he deserved, but still: you went after our goalie, mother fuckers. Prepare to pay the price. You started it, not us.

So in Game 3, Torres puts a nice hit on pretty boy Hossa, and the Chicago press goes apeshit. THEY HIT OUR GUY IN A WAY THAT IS AGAINST THE RULES!!!111!! well duh. You dumb fucks. The series doesn't go that route if the Blackhawks don't go after our goalie. You wanna play the righteous indignation card? Play it against Quenelle, who called for the original hit on Smith and then managed played the victim card.

You dumb fucks. You will lose the series and make excuses. But no one with half a brain believes you, because, you know, you're dumb fucks. Da Bears, blah blah blah. Fuck you.
