Pretty powerful article about deceased popular formar Minnesota Wild enforcer Derek Boogaard. Dealing with substance abuse and concussion/brain injuries. The same as stories you've heard with former NFL, boxers, and other NHL players. But it's a very sad yet informative read. I miss the Boogie-man. The player was damn near a legend in Minnesota. RIP

Anybody like the realignment set for next year? With four conferences of seven or eight teams each. It takes the term "unbalanced schedule" to another level. Each team plays just one home and away against each team in the other conferences. The rest of the games in the season will be against teams in your conference. This includes playoffs. Top four from each conference qualifies and finishes eliminating each other first before advancing to the semis with the other three "conference champions".

Sounds interesting, but I still have to see how it plays out.

I have a few friends with season tickets, and they definitely don't go to all of the games so I buy them off of them for season ticket face value. 203 row 9. I've been to 5 games this year so far. Only have tickets to 2 more games at the moment, (Calgary in February and Stars end of March) but I'll be going to more than that for sure. I was also at the Ducks game on the 26th. Fuck that team, especially Corey Perry.
