Yeah, but when the quality of Friday’s acts decimates the quality for Saturday, adding even just ONE great band would go a much longer way than adding yet another on Friday. If anything, adding another great and somewhat known band on Friday would mean it was more likely that I would have to miss an act I really want to see.

Plus, whoever said that Friday is noon to midnight? Weren't they discussing the possibility of a half-day type thing?

No kidding...What's with people bagging on Saturday? On top of all the bands you named there's MSRKRFT, Peter Bjorn and John, and the Black Keys.

But different strokes for different folks.

Anyways...This lineup is stacked all weekend. And I was going to say Sunday is the lightest day, but now that I'm checking out Lily Allen (she's surprisingly good, and not even my style) and other bands (Rodrigo y Gabriela is next to check out), my days will just keep getting all the more full.

My thoughts exactly. Band for band, there are fewer I want to see Friday, and I think it's because there are simply fewer bands playing. Another addition or two further down the bill on Friday would be nice.

You fail. Friday offers what's most likely the first and last opportunity to see Jarvis Cocker and The Jesus and Mary Chain, while everyone on Saturday tours regularly.

Yeah, Saturday has a few more acts I want to see, all on the lower lines of the lineup, but Friday has that "OMG ONCE IN A LIFETIME" vibe going.

bowie, portishead, radiohead/thom, tool, nin are all my hopefully big name additions for friday (even though "they" said there won't be any)

but i'll settle for any day. i have 3 day passes anyway. if they could throw pj harvey, aphex, and iggy in at some point that would be even better. :P

i hope they add some big names... that'd suck if the first year i save up 2 grand to finally go.. is the first year they don't.
