The match-up between 'SC and Ohio St. is going to be akin to the OSU vs. Texas battle in 2005 and 2006. While this game isn't going to determine whether or not one or the other makes it to the BCS Championship, it will determine who has the inside track. As you have seen over the past two years, teams are not going undefeated in the 12-game season. It will be interesting to see how Ohio St.'s O stacks up with a Trojans' D that is solid in the 2nd and 3rd layers, but starting youngsters at the point of attack.

If the Trojans win this game, it'll be interesting to see if they can get by ASU in the Pac-10 and if they do; they'll be. Bringing their show to Miami.

If the Buckeyes win this game, it'll be interesting to see if Georgia scores a hundred points.

I am looking forward to see how Rich Rodriguez does in Ann Arbor.
I personally think it will not go well. Of course, he will end up VERY RICH, but longing for how good he had it at West Virginia.

Why? In the games that count--the bowl games--over the duration of the Pete Carroll era USC has been 3-0 against the Big-10. If Ohio St. thinks 'SC is going to be easy, they'll be sent back to Columbus cut in pieces.

Indeed. Just like every year when one of their teams makes it to the BCS. You can hear the same sentiment...No team plays smashmouth football like the Midwestern boys and that no team from the West Coast/South has ever seen such power and then the Big-10 proceeds to get smoked by faster, complex, more athletic teams like the mighty Trojans.

I was at the Rose Bowl sitting in the Illinois section when we smoked the Illini this past New Years Day.

Appalachian St. had a sub-par season last year by their standards and still came back and won the BCS Sub Division One Division A whatever the f@ck its called championship. They lost alot of their talent to graduation and the NFL, so it will be interesting to see if this school can muster up their 3rd title in a row.

p/s - the rose bowl game against Illinois was a joke. even Illinois knew it.
big 10 should include another school in their conference so then they will have a legit conference championship. actually every conference should have 12 teams. it's only fair.

Check into ESPN Game Plan. I believe there is an international online version.
