Our Lady Peace?

when I was like 15 they put out a really bad album and the original guitarist left.

I'm sure that on this board, what I'm saying is tantamount to putting a hit on myself (although for some reason coldplay's okay), but I'd like to see an our lady peace reunion next year.
they have an extensive enough catalog and enough retrospect on what was good and what wasn't to play a really good show.
they had some excellent songs.

listen to the drumming in the song one man army.
when I listened to them as a kid, I never realized they were a really tight technical band. I've only been listening to them for a few days for the first time in YEARS.
I remember them sucking, but liking them anyways. as a canadian pre-teen it was in my fucking dna or something. but they don't suck. upon listening a second time years later, I think they're really good.

pilgrim, you must be kidding....OLP was decent (at best) during their time but their tunes are highly dated now....GV would have to lose an epic-size bet to book them for the 10th year anniversary...

that and all of raine maida's solo work makes my fucking ears bleed when i hear it on the radio

yeah, Toadies would be cooler (or even stabbing westward or local h)... but Our Lady Peace put on good shows and were still constantly touring until a couple of years ago... they were constantly doing fests in the northwest... they put on a REALLY good live show, which is how i got into them...

Harsh. OLP was actually good at some point. Spiritual Machines was a terrific album. Naveed and Happiness were also very solid.

Oh no...I just gained 40 pounds and went back to being in high school again. *shudder*

I'm a little ashamed that I didn't see Tripping Daisy back in the day, considering I'm from the Dallas area. I still listen to Eels, though.
