I like them on album, but man they gotta do something different with her voice live. They got booed hard before NIN in Calgary (not a dance music town or crowd, granted). She just basically yelled into the mic, and it wasn't down in the mix like on album.

Fun to watch her pogo around though, great energy!

So this statement was before I caught them live at the end of Oct. They did not impress. The lights were good but her questionable voice is god-awful in person. And their a little sketchy musically too. Basically most of their songs are much better on record, but Black Panther was wicked live.

Not to mention they came on 20 min late and played a ~40 min set with no encore. The new songs they played were also unimpressive...

dont know if anyone posted this but Crystal Castles will be in Miami for the Winter Music Conference and possibly an Ultra performance. they got a march 26 date in miami, a thursday, but its location is TBA
