Coachella 2008, Day 2 Pictures

Got enough up to begin Day 2. Once again the beginning of my day was spent in the parking lots with the Friend who can see things normal humans can't. Since she posted her Carpoolchella favorites already, i should see if it be cool if i post some i like. Anyway, the first band i get to see this day is MGMT, then i rolled over to Bonde Do Role. The kids from Brazil were super fun. Kate Nash, Hot Chip, Kraftwerk, Portishead, a little Calvin Harris, Yelle, and the ever so great Prince made up the rest of the day. Here's part 1:

a few cars got a little bogged down in some soft ground. Before the parking people blocked that section off, some people had fun pushing cars. Everyone got out alive. This was my favorite.

I had no idea the lead singer of Bonde De Role is so hot. Or, at least I am assuming she is the lead singer because she has the most amount of pictures.
Also, does anyone know how old the lead singer of MGMT is? When I saw them over the weekend, I noticed he looks a lot younger then the rest of the band and I am just curious.

This is from the Day 1 thread when chiapet posed a similar question about night shots:

Trust in the tri-pod. The best Christmas present i got in 2007 was a
Joby Gorillapod. The legs are flexible and can fit themselves around poles, fences, tilted on the grass....love that thing. i used that a lot, but also held my breath and stayed still as i could (old school style). Setting the 2 second timer is very regular for shots not involving any immediate need to capture action.

Camera wise for this year was a Canon 40D and G9. i rented a fast 35mm lens (1.4) and wide angle to go with what i had for the 40. The manual settings on the G9 came through great.

Also want to mention i'm doing the typical editing of sharpening, cropping, bumping saturation and highlights. Some require nothing. Some need a lot of tweaking. For the editing, i'm just using iphoto (yes, i finally crossed over).
