the Faint played the outdoor stage a few years ago and were fantastic! new album due soonish- i agree, it would be great to have them back for '09.

this is insane, just last summer greyhound tickets were so insanely affordable, I just checked to see how much it would cost for me to go see the faint in atlanta, its like 200 something bucks!

it cost me less than a 100 to get to bonnaroo and back last year on a greyhound

Yeah they have had a price increase. I'm sure it has something to do with the rise in petrol.

of course, it's to be expected, but to a point where flying is about the same, maybe a little more, or even cheaper?? (as is the case with traveling to Austin)

shpongle in the sahara tent is something that I have to experience in my lifetime. it has to happen. it just fucking HAS to.
the sahara tent is the clearest, loudest EDM-tuned sound system I've ever heard.
I would give anything to see even just simon posford. the man doesn't just mix shpongle tracks. he uses a whole 24 track console on stage. effortlessley.
he's just so damn brilliant, and the three shpongle albums are some of the most deeply psychedelic music ever composed.

I know I've posted this video in this thread already, but I still have like five more times before I hit the repetition of that live royksopp video (which I love, BTW)
anyways:

I'm so happy to see a continuing evolution regarding Shpongle! It used to be whenever I brought them up, I would always be met with, "what the fuck are you talking about?"

or I would mention Twisted Records UK(Simon Posford's label), and people would think I was endorsing something ICP related...sickening!

how far is Toronto from Montreal? Aug 3rd Hallucinogen Live and Sphongle DJ set at some event in Montreal...don't know anything else about it though...
