yeah i saw him at the kern county fair ten years ago...
lollipops and crisps
Weird Al puts on an awesome live show, it would be cool to see him again, not necessarily Coachella, but if he did, id be very happy to catch his set.
doubtul
As long as it's one 50-minute long polka explosion.
wierd Als cool for about 2 minutes. and then its like shittttt. please stop.
Hardly, Al could go on for hours and still be entertaining! His "Al TV" bits during the show are the best.
Al is great live! yes i would love to see him there.
"God got Wendys' period mixed up, every 28 days she starts acting nice...it lasts about a weekend."
Seeing him at the enmore in march. Couldn't be happier.
Missed out last time, and almost missed him again but my friend got me a ticket (we were talking about weird al over the cricket a week before - lucky)
Don't know if he is a festival kinda guy, but the love overwhelms the appropriateness.
I think the question could've been raised before Coachella last year as to whether or not Madonna was a "festival kind of gal", so Al, who's still not relatively well known as most artists you would immediately cross off the list from playing Coachella due to their starpower, could possibly logically play (just not this year, methinks, since he's touring Australia or something).
I've always wanted to see him live. He sounds like fun.
If comedy acts like Comedians of Comedy and weird novelties like Roky Erickson can get on the poster, I don't see why a weird comedy novelty like Weird Al wouldn't merit at least some consideration in the future. Jus'sayin'.

Anything is possible I suppose.
I'd love it if Al were added in late for Friday. Heh.
That would definately be fun, but not right for Coachella.
All is Full of Love, All Around You
I've only heard good things abou this live shows.
Hunting has been part of our society since the first Europeans came over and shot buffalo and Native Americans and whatnot.

GAAAAA...Muse is playing this thing and not Coachella?
BTW...I can totally see Weird Al working in a tent, just because it's SO far out. Only thing is, he puts on a pretty big show- video, costume changes, snow machine...
He gets such a bad rep because everyone thinks he just does parody songs. The parodys are pretty hacky and lame, but I like his original songs. He's a victim of his own success- he got famous doing those stupid food songs, and now he has to fill half of each album with that crap.
I've got a burned CD in my car that's all Weird Al original songs...gotta love Frank's 2000" TV. And his band really doesn't get enough credit for pulling off so many different styles.
I still cannot believe some woman out there finally married the guy. It must be for the money.
What the? Al is one sexy mofo!!
I actually saw him in concert 22 years ago. Jeez, both me and Al seem very old now.
If he did an all-alt/indie set? Section Quartet was great. Someone should get these guys:
Cover Me Badd's Blasphemous Guitars
live ridiculous mashups of Coachella bands (Cure, Rage, DMode, Morrissey, Bboys, NIN, Oasis etc)

Oh wait, I'm in that band.
I hear he's opening for Bon Jovi.
Weird Al would be good for the Kids Stage at Lollapalooza. I really can't see him tearing up the Outdoor Theater in the desert sun.

You've lost me completely. Why don't we just get Guns N Roses to reunite.
I love Al. I was a huge fan as a kid. I saw a special on him the other night and an excellent point was made. He's once person that has never been effected by critics. I think all of his albums are gold. Very impressive and he spans 4 decades now.
Killer. I say add him. He is probably better than 50 percent of the bands that have been there.
Lets keep the music and the comedy separate at Coachella.
