I can't stand when you go see a performance and the performer constantly talks to the audience. It's like come on and drop the bass already. I have seen both of them live. Oh I know. I'm familiar with Atmosphere. And actually, Ant's beats on Paint that shit gold aren't that good to me. But I love most Atmosphere - what I'm not familiar with is the live show, and that video didn't look appealing to me. Is he normally better?

It's really hard to be objective about this considering Kanye is such a little bitch about everything. The video awards incident, Bonnaroo and now the airport incident have cemented his status as the biggest douche in the universe. Having said that, Kanye is a very talented producer. I don't think either Kanye or Slug are particularly good rappers/lyricists. I was a huge Atmosphere fan when You Can't Imagine How Much Fun We're Having came out, but then I saw them at Vegoose and was very disappointed. Who would I rather meet and hang out with? Slug, Ant and friends no question. Who do I think has more musicial talent? Kanye by just a bit. He's at his best when he shuts up and let's other people rap over his beats.

This is like an 80's arena rock song in that thousands of people can easily sing along with the chorus in unison. I hate to defend Kanye like this because he has the attitude of a six year old as he throws whiny tantrums when he doesn't get what he wants instead of acting like a grown man. To be completely objective though, he's the better musician.
