Thread: What is the "Art" part of the festival?

  1. #1

Default What is the "Art" part of the festival?

Coachella is billed as the "Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival."

We all know what the music part of the festival is, but what is the art part?

Decorated recycling containers, large metal sculptures, functional art (insect-shaped misters), performance art, etc. Sometimes there is a film tent.

the "art" part is just to make the festival sound more sophisticated and well rounded. it's call a "music and arts" festival, but it's really 99% music and 1% art.

well, music IS art, but you guys know what I mean.

If you cannot find the art, than you are legally blind. By the way, music counts as art.

Recent studies at Yale have shown that being an asshole is detrimental to one's health. Professor Sweetlove, a Psychology professor, came on record as saying:
"Assholes and local desert rats tend to live shorter lives and have less consensual sexual relations than non assholes. It could be due to lower testoserone levels or a chemical imbalance in the brain but some people are just wired to be.... well.... assholes"

Tall bicycles. No matter who you are or where you came from, you are reduced to a giggling kid again when you ride those bikes. They were made with magic.

    that was Awesome!

I was waiting patiently for NIN to take stage, and they projected it on the big screens. Glad they did.

lets not forget the perpetual art machine tent, which was awesome. It was ice cold in there, never was crowded and showed about 20 insane short films at the same time. I ended up buying their dvd. Great to throw on at a party. Art at coachella is great. I hope they keep it up as much as they did last year
Then I will hold you down and spit her percolations all over you until you're as greasy as the day she regrets pushing your big fat ass out her big fat cunt.
