I missed the Raconteurs to see Aphex Twin. My friends said that I would probably never see Aphex Twin again. And that I would be able to see Raconteurs later in the year.......They played here in Sept.......I couldn't afford to go.

Simian Mobile Disco and the National. Saw the National at sasquatch and they were amazing way better than Goldfrapp, she played too much new stuff I don't really like seventh tree.

Don't regret missing either mind you. Just bad scheduling. Roger Waters was the most amazing show of the whole festival and of the year for me, and I knew i'd get my shot at the National. Goldfrapp might have been sweet.

I only saw the end of MGMT (caught kids!) and the end of Boys Noize... would have liked to see more of both but most of their sets overlapped and I was having a tough time picking which to see, so I decided fuck it either way I'll have regrets so I went and got a record signed by Hot Chip instead. Totally worth it.
I've seen boys noize already anyways. caught the last 15 mins it was rad.
and I got to listen to cold war kids while I trotted over to my locker to ditch the record. pretty rad.

I regret staying with my friends during MGMTs crappy set instead of running to go see Boys Noize, and having to sit through Death Cab and missing Hot Chip (although I was third row center for Kraftwerk-Portishead-Prince). Similar regret is watching Stars to get a good seat, but it was worth it - dead center rail for Gogol, MMJ, and of course Roger Waters!!!
