Glad Jeff is here to be a voice of reason. They have 3, arguably 4 classic albums. The Bomb Squad's production fucked with the way hip hop sounded. Chuck D was so intense that you needed Flava Flav to add a touch of insanity and comedy to what would otherwise have been extremely heavy music.

I saw Outkast at the San Diego Street Scene. To this day, they are the greatest live hip hop act I have ever seen. The biggest dilemma is that I was a lot younger though, and am far more into them today than ever before. If Coachella got Outkast, I would cry.

It was 2001. They were supporting Stankonia. It was awesome. It was a bit odd watching The Offspring play before them because it was a total turn around but it was actually well done by them as well. A pretty good street scene that well.
