They were a reunion show after a well-documented icy split in which half the band went to work with a different lead singer. Outkast never broke up. They just fizzled. Besides Rage had a history with Coachella and a HUGE fan base in Southern California/Northern Mexico.
Maybe if Coachella happened in rural Georgia near Atlanta this might make more sense.
Again, Outkast will not be on that poster.
It is totally possible, and it was called Idyllwild. how about whoever is right buys the other a churro AND a lemonade?

I want this because i want to see Outkast, but i think this lineup has enough top level hip hop or hip hop-ish acts. I'd rather have a few more solid hip hop groups mixed into the undercard (Madvillain anyone? Raekwon?) with a solid rock headliner. And by rock, i dont mean muse...i mean something with more attitude.
correction: hip hop "artists", not "groups" - although i'd like the Wu too
I bumped this not because I think there's a realistic change Outkast gets added, but rather because Drewski owes me a churro and lemonade. And I love those things, especially churros.
Okay, like this, yeah yeah
One time for my boy doing King shit
Two times for Legit and it don't quit
Three times for my folks in the drop top
Four times OutKast and it don't stop
One time for my cuz doing Queen thangs
Dead fresh to the teeth eatin chicken wings
Three times for my guhls in the beauty shop
Four times OutKast and it don't stop (don't stop)

I hope it doesn't live forever..they need to play!
Andre 3000 doesn't like performing anymore which is the main reason why they don't perform. Maybe he will change his mind but I doubt it.
I'll still continue to bump it.. I hope so TanTan.. Outkast is probably my favorite all time group (along with daft and pink floyd).. I'll never stop beating myself up for missing them at Audiotistic and Area One even though I was only 14..

Pretty sure Bowie will play before 3-Stacks.
Outkast is at the top of my bucket list. This needs to happen, Andre will come around sooner or later. I think it has to do alot with their record label situation
I don't think this is going happen for a while. But here is to hoping.
I think a new outkast album will drop when Detox drops. Ive been waitiing 12 years for that shit
Certain songs they get so scratched into our souls
Outkast and Led Zep are probably the 2 biggest acts on my bucket list....
I'm so screwed.
COACHELLA 2014
DAFT PUNK,... Ronald Jenkees! Outkast!! Prodigy! Faithless! Underworld! London Elektricity! (live set) Future Sound of London! DJ Yoda (DVJ Set!) Dillinja and Lemon D w/ the Valve Soundsystem, Ed Solo & Deekline! Dizzee Rascal!
I saw Big Boi last night (who was great btw) and he had Killer Mike with him for a handful of songs. Before they performed "The Whole World" together they had this conversation
"Hey Mike you know what next year is right?"
"Yeah yeah Boi"
"Yeah that's right...next year is the 20th anniversary of Outkast. Me and Andre been doin this thing since we were 16."
It probably meant nothing...but it got me really excited.
