They kind of do to me. Maybe topped with some sauteed mushrooms and cheese.

Turkey bacon. I can't have regular bacon anymore. I went on a bacon binge for a week (or 2). I happened to go to the doctor that week & my cholesterol was off the charts. He looked shocked like I was close to death. He said whatever your eating stop it. I can't do bacon in moderation. Once I have some I want more & more. Why does bacon have to be so good yet be so bad for me? The one thing that gives me joy in life I can't have in excess (boohoo, sob, sniffle).

I don't think you could get olive oil hot enough to cook the waffles right. I'm picturing an oily soggy mess.

Savory waffles though sound delicious, I agree with that.

For those talking about savory waffles, that's what crepes are for, sillies.

I wonder what the cholesterol content of that bottle is. It can't be much. I'm gonna have to try that. I bet it would be good with peppered vodka?

I much prefer waffles to crepes. They are FAR superior.

    Does not compute. Please explain.

Brie over bacon over basil chiffonade over waffle, with marmalade on the side?
