so I went to the car wash yesterday. Guy asks me "did you park under a sprinkler?". Uh, no. I know better. "Well you got all these marks seeped into your finish." and yes there are little droplet marks. all over the trunk and rear window of my car. and they didn't come out in the wash. fucker wants $180 to buff the car. my guess... now understand THIS IS ONLY A GUESS.. my guess is that they (Coachella) were spraying water in the parking lots to keep the dust down and it fucked up my car's finish. fucking fuckers.

A polish and wax should do the trick Tom, no buffing is needed for water spots. He was trying to pull a fast one on you.

Buffing is actually bad for your paint, it wears it down. The only time you should ever buff your car is when there is a hairline scratch or abrasion on the paint and even then it should be minimal buffing on the particular area of concern.
