So who will be the token latin band this year? Last year we got Los Amigos Invisibles, although they are ***tty good, I would much rather have cafe tacuba play every year. Who do you want to see? Heres my wish list:

I think Manu Chao would be likely and I dont know what kind of crowd Molotov would bring, that would be my issue there. And I want to see Cafe Tacuba again.

Ozomatli is in the middle but I think its more of bands from latin america than ones from here that play latin music. We have Rodrigo and Gabriela so....

Molotov is one of the best live bands i have ever seen. Porter went to coachella last year, as an audience, i saw them. Plastilina Mosh would be as really good fit for the dance tent.

Saw Manu Chao @ Oxegen in Ireland and this coming from a genuine fan... They were awful, terrible, garbage. The drummer sounds like he should be in a school garage band, he was utter tripe, the most repetative crap i heard at the whole festival. Every song sounded exactly the same. There was no way they deserved a slot on the main stage, wether it was 3 o'clock or not. I felt completely let down. It's studio music, nothing else to be said.
Rodrigo & Gabriela are the ones to look out for. Hailing from Mexico City but 'discovered' busking on the streets in Dublin. I've seen them live about 10 times now and have come out of every gig amazed. This is the most intricate, interesting and beautiful music to listen to.
Might not suit a big stage but will rip shit up in one of the tents.
If you like metal or flamenco or Spanish guitar, they are for you. Their influences come from the likes Metallica and traditional flamenco (they both played in a metal group in Mexico before going travelling)...
