Craziest things you saw at Coachella 2008

There's another thread on this, but it's from last year and I hate clicking those little numbers. So I'll start with two things my friends saw:

-Security chasing some guy through a crowd, catching him and then forcing him to empty his pockets, only to find that his pockets were stuffed with pistachios. Tons and tons of pistachios.

-Two people having sex in a truly disgusting port-o-potty by the Sahara tent. Did not seem to notice when the door was opened.

I'm pretty sure one of the craziest things some people saw was when I seizured and blacked out during Roger Waters and had to be pulled over the barricades and carted out by EMS...

It was pretty crazy when they started walking the pig through because I was trying to sit there and recover and the people holding it and whatever else were knocking into me. Sadly I couldn't lift my head to see the pig - and was there fire? I kept feeling heat on my back randomly

I saw that! I was about 3 guys behind that guy when security grabbed him. The main stage security people were more dickish all 3 days it seemed, one over-amped yellowshirt Security guy on sunday was challenging someone in the crowd to a fight screaming "you wanna fucking go?! I'll jump this fence and kick your fucking ass!" while the whiteshirt security guy was coming over to see what the problem was. Sure would like to know the backstory behind that

- obviously drugged-up couple dancing on the hood and trunk of their car in the parking lot friday night, apparently unaware of the massive dents and creases they were putting into their bodywork, and able to only spout gobbledygook when I pointed it out to them.

probably the funniest thing ive seen in the two years that ive been to coachella.

On sunday a guy started doing flips and when he finished his last one, someone said "now who wants to suck his dick?" this lady that was standing there(appeared to be his wife or girlfriend because i saw them later in the day) and said "I do!" she then ran over to him, got on her knees and started bobbing her head like she was actually doing it. the guy then pushed her head to the ground, laid down on her, and starting humping her face. there were like 15 people watching and it was seriously one of the most funny, fucked up thing ive seen.

I saw a security guy actually enjoying Swervedriver on Sunday. (It's crazy cause they usually just stand there with their sunglasses on and ignore the bands.)

Naked streaker girl on Sunday either before or after Metric near the Outdoor Theatre. I think she was (bottle) blond, and she had a tramp stamp. She looked kinda cute, and she was FAST.

We were sitting outside of the Sahara Sunday afternoon minding our own business enjoying the sun. Some kid tripping hard on something ran over to us, grab my friends water bottle, and tried walking away. My friend got up, took it back, and the tripping kid started hugging my friend. The tripping kid gets thrown to the ground and goes up to another group to do the same thing.

Apparently the cops were watching this kid and tackled him as soon as he went to group number 2. About 10 cops surround this kid and kicked his ass. I have no idea if the kid had something in his pockets but he was freaking out. Cops continued to beat him up, eventually hog tied the kids legs, and then carried him away.

Maybe the kid really needed water and couldn't talk? I have no idea but the kid didn't deserve that. The cops stood around this kid, arms cross, staring at everyone as the kid got beat up like "we will beat you up too if you get too wild".

Tripping kid had this terrified look in his eyes as if demons were carrying him out of the festival.

Yep - saw the topless chick at the Coachella stage in the daytime. I kept wondering if that would stay on in the heat (and through the hands).

Someone else I know saw a cop or security guy making out with some wasted chick, while his friends chatted up her other friends. Nice. No wonder security was so lax.

tons of green mushrooms and little gnomes and elves during roger waters! i was tripping so hard on acid i had to jump over the barracade i walked right through the soundbooth only to find a little to sit in, some nice girl gave me her water bottle and i got to watch the rest of roger waters from the sound booth frying outta my brain!! it was awesome security never even noticed i wasnt suppost to be in there

i posted this in the other one but:

"this guys from the tent next to me did acid at coachella with the rest of his camping group. they were all fine except for the one dude who we refer to as acid guy. he was TRIPPING BALLS. we first noticed him when he was talking to himself outside of his tent (his friends totally ditched him). he was mumbling and dancing and walking around. then he bumping into their across the way neighbors' canopy and sat in one of their chairs until he got kicked out. we tried talking to him but he was incoherent. he pulled his sleeping bag out of his tent. talked nonsense all night. saw the big lights around the field and said a train was coming. mentioned badgers and shark teeth.

we tucked him in to bed when he seemed to be getting more with it at about 3 am and then went to the bathroom. when we got back he was gone. in the morning his friends asked firstaid and the cops if they had seem him and apparently no arrests had been made. at 10 am or so he got picked up by EMS and taken to the hospital where he tried to kill himself. he is on psychiatric watch at the Oasis now.

crazy shit. he's canadian and has no travelers insurance. he friends were from australia and england.

also... i got flashed some australian titties in the parking lot. i was getting stuff and waiting for my boyfriend and this couple walked by and she just lifted up her shirt. i don';t know if she noticed me but i think she was miserably hot. she was talking about wanted to get "indecent"

I can't remember who was playing, but it was early in the afternoon in the Sahara tent on Saturday or Sunday... Some raver crackhead in checkerboard suspenders and a fedora was dancing around in a large circle by himself, in his own little world, very into the music, and getting way too close for comfort to the people around him. Naturally, people would back away to give him dancing space. After looking more closely, I noticed the river of blood dripping down his face (he must have had one bad-ass nose bleed), smeared all over his hands. Either he didn't know or didn't care that it was there. Somone finally got the attention of a security guard to have him escorted out. Instead of exiting the tent like he was asked, he sat down, scooted a few feet on his ass, stood up, sat down, scooted a few more feet, blood dripping down his face, refusing to stand up and walk out like an adult. *LOL* It was one of the most bizarre things I've ever seen, but I couldn't take my eyes off of it for even a second. He returned 15 or so minutes later, blood-free and with a bottle of water, and resumed his dancing.

during kraftwerk we were standing there drinking our "lemonade" and dancing and i look over and there is a couple on the ground going at it hard and people just dancing around them, I poke my sister on the shoulder and say "I think they are fucking" she says "yep"... like its nothing. Now this being my first time at a music festival i found it a bit odd but hey everyone else just danced around them so maybe thats the norm. lol.

I was near the back during deadmau5 and there was this guy dancing crazy. He kept trying leave while spinning, dancing and running but he kept running into the sign that had the set times. I don't know why but he couldn't get by that sign, somehow he kept running into it. I think if he stopped spinning and dancing he might have been able to do it.

I saw the girl wearing the paint...

These guys on this golf cart drove into the crowd for M.I.A. and just stopped and watched from the cart so they could get a better view. They let only girls stand on it with them. This one girl stood on it and the one guy put his hand up her dress and on her ass while her boyfriend was watching and laughing. The boyfriend tried to stand on the cart and they said, "No boyfriends".

I saw circle many times and pull multiple people out of crowds and drag them away but I could never figure out what exactly was going on.

saw the streaker near Metric on Outdoor... kinda hot...

saw a couple fucking against the side of the mojave during, i think, black lips... security glanced over and went back to their conversation...*EDIT: i think it was actually against the side of the Gobi and i think it may have been during Akron/Family or even Sons & Daughters*

maybe it was me peaking, but there was some kind of wet orgy going on at times in the do lab on saturday...

i was able to walk right up to the railing on the right-hand side at the beginning until about midway of Aphex Twin's set (and there was easily room for about 10 others), which i thought was CRAZY!

i thought i saw suprefan in the tent during scars on broadway, idk why but i thought it was pretty weird...

oh, and the mosh pit that Enter Shikari got going that went all the way around the sound booth in the mojave... although it was really weak and lasted about 17 seconds...
