One time I convinced myself that I saw you in the Detroit airport. It was during the holidays and I think you had posted that you were in Cincinnati visiting your family. I was returning to SF from Detroit and my laptop battery died and I noticed a man with striking similarities to the photos of yourself that you have posted. I sat there and wrestled with the possibility that it could be Roberto73 from the internet. I considered approaching the man, I tried to make eye contact. I stared at the man for about an hour. I was sure it was you. In my head, I went through all the potential conversations. At long last, he walked by my chair and looked me in the eye. I gave him an uncomfortably familiar "Hey, sup?" and he looked at me like I was Corky. Then I got home and you were still posting from Cincinnati.

bit of a hijack but roberto wont mind ... always go up to someone if you think you know them, even from here ... the worst thing that can happen is they give you a weird look (i guess randy might punch you out but i doubt it) ... i wrote this in the default thread, but two guys going on to the interstate "recognized" me but not really ... one of their brothers who comes here to the board that lives in california had talked about me and they put one and one together and guessed it was me ... so 1500 miles from someone that doesnt know me really, never met him, talked to his bro in colorado and zippy .... didnt hurt i had on a coachella sticker x****

And this otherwise boring birthday was redeemed by my awesome girlfriend giving me tickets to Radiohead at the Santa Barbara Bowl in August. Maybe I'll finally meet some of you there.
