I really missed them.
I really missed them.
I guess nobody else missed them.
I missed them. I was in rough need of a spanking.
I missed them too. It made me sad that Stagecoach gets them but we didn't.
I'm with you, I really wanted to ride a tall bike.
I decided I'd try that this year and it wasn't there![]()
They're gonna be at Stagecoach? That's bullshit. Why couldn't they do both weekends? Those bikes are such a great outlet for festival energy.
So I read this real quick, and thought it said cyanide, and I was confused as to why people were bummed about there being no cyanide at Coachella, and also as to why there would be some at Stagecoach.
Oh man I love those guys and their dangerous contraptions. I hope they go next year.
didnt miss them in the slightest.
If any thing the Do Lab should only be there for Coachella, the bikes fit in for both, just the Do Lab is more of a Coachella attraction, I can't see them at Stagecoach.
They were in San Mateo for The Maker Faire (you know,"Make" magazine,
like Martha Stewart on acid)this past weekend.
It looked like there may have been other "art" from past Coachellas and Burning Mans (Men???)
I miss Robochrist the most.
Let me in. I have a Geezerpass.
they got the cyclecide, we got the tesla coils...
they really didn't get the do lab, it was just all the set structures and a couple of misters... no show or music or anything...
everything else was pretty much the same, except way less lights in the sahara (oh, i'm sorry, i mean palamino)... no outdoor at all and a ton more merchandise booths that made it look like the county fair or a swap meet, but in a good way (i guess)... oh, and no game tent, but they had the blue room... the bbq was good... and onsite rv camping w/ alcohol & all ages (w/ ins & outs) ruled...
the gobi was some kiddie playland, although the haystack maze looked like it would be really fun at night (and high)... and they kept the drum machine thingy, which was weird and only kids seemed to be using it, with the adults looking at it perplexed...
the big-rig-jig seemed to be popular with the hick crowd too... hehe
The Greencards and Carolina Chocolate Drops were both AMAZING though... and a group of people came up to me backstage thinking i was Shooter Jennings, kinda funny...

the cyclecide is a kiddie attraction at Stagecoach (much like the music-maker thingy last year), and kinda a babysitter while parents go buy cowboy hats & shit...
it's hilarious to see them on it when one week early you've seen drug-addled freaks doing god knows what on them...
so anyone have the inside scoop?? this was one of my favorites in 07
Should I just give up hope?
I remember these things. Reminds me of my first Coachella in 2001. My friend tried riding one and fell off and twisted his ankle. Then my other friend was riding the bike that turns oppposite of which way you're directing and fell and hit his head.
Good times.
It would be cool to bring them back!
