Wow, that's fortunate. If they had replaced Fluorescent Half Dome with either of the new songs on the Temecula Sunrise EP, Bitte Orca would have my Album of the Year award. That really takes the album down a notch for me, especially to end with that song.

I'm gonna have to agree with TallGuy about FHD. I just don't really get it. Every single other track on Bitte Orca is nothing short of classic. And then there's that. And they end with it! But I will agree that it actually made for a nice opener to the show the other night.

I got Rise Above as well and really like it too. On pandora i heard several songs from The Getty Address though and I think that's my favorite material so far! I need to get ahold of the earlier stuff

I have Rise Above and enjoy it. I had heard New Attitude EP and The Getty Address and wasn't really moved, and I even disliked some songs.

Yeah haha The Getty Address isn't my favorite either. I love the Glad Fact though. Slaves, Graves and Ballads is weaker in the second half, but is also fantastic. Keep in mind their earlier stuff is closer to Guided by Voices then Animal Collective in production.

if you've been to the venue you'd understand. That place is immaculate and the sound is out of this world. it's definitely a special occasion to see a band there
