I was about 30 feet from the stage and it was FUCKING HOT up there, but that didn't stop me and my friends from dancing our asses off. How amazing are they?

I've been a fan for the past year and half or so and this was my first chance to see them live. I was surprised at how much more punched up their sound was and how it really seemed geared toward some serious dance floor chaos. Do they always do that when they play live or was that just something they did because the Sahara tent is such a heavy dance environment? I'm not at all inexperienced when it come to producing electronic music and it seems like the latter would be a lot of work for just one show.

Is anybody going to see them tomorrow night?

I'm a convert. Must hear more of the Hot Chip. It seemed like the whole festival was jamming into Sahara for it. They were so bouncy and fun, with the crowd loving it. I wished I didn't leave early to catch some of Death Cab (who I love but thought were really flat and blah).

Hot Chip is the Top 40 of electronic music. SNL needs to use them in a skit. Very dull, but at least you can dance to it. I personally need something more interesting to keep my attention.

It was so crowded I gave up and sat at the Sahara sign for their set. They should've definitely played at at least the outdoor stage; there was definitely enough people for it.
