How do I know if a ticket is legit?

I'm purchasing a ticket on craigslist, and just wanted to know what I should be looking out for as far as counterfeit tickets go. Anybody have a picture of their ticket and/or VIP wristband? Are there any security features I should verify?

try to get hard tickets instead of printed out copies. there are plenty of pictures on ebay (tickets and i've seen wristbands there too).

and don't pay thru western union or anything like that.
