    Default FOOD

OK so what kind of food do they sell inside the venue and/or at the on-site campground, and what are the prices?? I'm vegetarian, though I prefer vegan food, but I don't want to be stuck eating beans and rice on a tortilla three times a day...mostly interested in what healthy food they have...also any fresh fruit?

    Cheers !!

if they dont have there, I'm sure you could go to the nearest supermarket and grab some pears.

well once you're in the venue, you can't leave then come back...and I imagine I will be in the venue 10-12 hours a day which would be two meals and snacks

My friends told me about the Tri Tip sandwiches said they were $8.00 but worth it. They cook the meat on a big grill so it's nice and hot and great tasteing.

They normally have quite a few vegetarian options. I am one my self so I end up eating better at Coachella then I normally would. However, everything is really expensive so keep that in mind..but the food is great I think..If you have never been, a very popular item is the coconut drink (pretty much a straw stuck in a coconut and you just eat the damn thing when you have drunk all the juice).

in my experience coachella has offered pretty great food at reasonable prices.(compared to other festivals/concerts). plenty of awesome stuff to choose from. there are also def. vegan and healthy food stands so you wont be stuck with some makeshift vegan meal 3 times a day. (i.e. beans in a tortilla)

I am semi-vegetarian (pescatarian, I guess - I'll eat fish but no meat) and there were actually a lot of really good options. Can't remember everything, but I am pretty sure I had some really good veg. Indian food, good pizza, I know there were some raw food/vegan meals that looked decent, I seem to remember fresh fruit being sold, I think there may have been some Chinese veg. dishes ... can't remember any other specifics, but I know that I was impressed with the selection. (Maybe there were also some falafels, hummus, that kind of thing??)
