do they take away video cameras

i have an old camcorder, and their faq says they take them away, but then later says they wont if they arent "professional." mine is def not pro, but id rather not get it taken away. does anyone know

rules state no Video Recorders (camcorders) allowed in. And yes, we all know most basic digital cameras take video now, but this isn't about that. We're talking about just a standard video recorder (which you seem to have), old or new, pro or non-pro, camcorders aren't allowed in.

they can't rightfully take your camcorder away from you. they'll just send you back to your car or tent to leave it there.
