How does that sound?
How does that sound?
A black flag reunion at coachella would be retarded. Don't get me wrong, they are one of my favorite bands of all time, but it just wouldn't feel right. Keith Morris is doing just fine with the circle jerks and I'm pretty sure Rollins is good to go right now too. Now faith no more, that would be neat.
who cares, this coachella is in 6 days lets worry about this right now
no thanks.
Upcoming Shows:
Pitchfork Festival: 7/19 @ Union Park
Mountain Oasis Festival: 10/25-27
Is there any info floating out there about Soundgarden possibly getting back together? I haven't seen anything substantial anywhere that would lead to that happening. I mean, Cameron is in Pearl Jam full time, I haven't heard anything about the bassist in years, the last thing I heard about Kim was that he was a guest guitarist on some cd last year, and Cornell, although he f*cking wails, really needs to get this sensitive shit out of his system and get back to yelling his balls off like he did on "Jesus Christ Pose"
Please check out my blog Sleeping is Giving In for some great mixes and other good things!
Soundgarden? yeah... they tried to get them for this year, but it was a no go... i guess cornell's not hurting for money (yet) give it another year or two...
Im going to campaign hard for a black flag reunion in '09...

WE NEED MUSIC TO BEAT UP WOMEN'S PLACENTAS AND PUNCH BABIES WITH, YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
This is true, that was aimed more at Black Flag and Soundgarden.
And their fans.
Aw, that's it, Nipples? You've gone soft.
Uggh..Although Coachella may not be the ideal venue for a reunion, Black Flag were/are hugely influential and had very diverse albums that ranged from hardcore punk to slow instrumentals so it's pretty fucking ridiculous to try to lump them or their fans in with Metal-core or Death-metal or whatever you're trying to do. I'm not even going to start on FNM...

I caught the Black Flag reunion show in Hollwood that Greg Ginn supported for a donation fundraiser for a cat rescue. It was amazing! So I would say yes to BLACK FLAG eventhough it would weird to them them in a Festival setting. Id' say a big neh to soundgarden and faith no more. I think grunge still sucks ass!
Coachella 99' 01',02',03',04',05',06',07',08',09',10',11',12',13 ' and counting!!!

This is quite an old thread, but I decided it'd be best to resurrect it instead of posting something new. However, I'm only referencing one of the three bands posted here -- Soundgarden.
Does anyone know if they have any chance of being a late add?

It HAS to be Ken.
No Ken here.
