Hi, I am a 25 year old girl coming from Albuquerque alone. I have a camping pass and I am bringing my sleeping bag but I don't have a tent. How difficult the life woould be for me?It is my first time so I don't have a clue. Where can I keep my backback? Is there any nice people who could share their tent with me?

i spent $30 on ebay for a 8person tent big enough for my queensized air matress all for myself last year. you can find 2 person tent for like $5-10...then just leave it after the festival....

good advice, it sounds like a dream sleeping under the stars, until some drunk person falls on you or worse in the middle of the night ... pick one up in town for 20 bucks or so and just leave it there like someone else said ... x**** it might even rain, not ....

Yeah girl, that doesn't sound like a good idea. Get a tent; it'll be worth the money. Walmart has a tent that sleeps 3-4 for $29.99.

get a tent. I've gone alone a few times alone and have met a ton of people. you haven't been and you don't know there are party people on every square foot of the grass. It's like zombieland by Saturday. It's still good to have some privacy. They sell tents at the campgrounds.

I got a new tent yesterday from walmart. 8x9 but 1 foot of that is a welcome mat. 32.97. Not bad. The only cheaper one was a 6x5 for children. But 30 is a bargain for privacy and wind protection.

Oh fuck. 7 days from this very moment I will be at the main stage waiting impatiently for PORTISHEAD.

i got a new tent at big lots (overstock store, if you don't have em in your area) for $20. it's 7x7, so it fits perfectly. you'll be ok with a camping pass and just a sleeping bag - a tent is not required. but as for storing your stuff, you would want to put your stuff back in your car or have someone put it in their tent for you...just to be safe.
