I know.
I've been stalking you.
That's why there was a rose on your porch this morning.
hopefully this means Justice will be doing another tour soon around here...
Upcoming Shows:
Pitchfork Festival: 7/19 @ Union Park
Mountain Oasis Festival: 10/25-27
Coachella: 4/11-13 @ Empire Polo Fields
I could see myself leaving before justice came on or in the middle of their set...
the same shit? Each Justice show Ive seen has been vaguely different...
Upcoming Shows:
Pitchfork Festival: 7/19 @ Union Park
Mountain Oasis Festival: 10/25-27
Coachella: 4/11-13 @ Empire Polo Fields
justice headlining = pass
it would make sense if Justice are just cashing in and no intention of making new music ever.
.
last year where I just wanted to see M.I.A. and Flosstradamus and the rest of the line up blew.
You missed out, then: DJ Shadow and Cut Chemist put on one of the best shows I've ever seen.
Good lineup, if I lived in SF I would def go to this.
Dude, Sushov, I'm planning on heading up from SD. We should carpool or something.
Oh shit that's right...
Well, fuck, SS wont have ANY of those bands?... Fuck SS.
I'm gonna wait this one out, but I will def. let you know about carpooling.
i completely agree, but you have to admit just Goldfrapp, Hot Chip and CSS are worth $65, especially given the fact that Treasure Island was an awesome overall festival last year. watching Thievery Corp and Gotan Project and being able to turn around and see the lit up SF skyline was unique.
.
I will have moved to Seattle the week before this fest, so it looks like I won't be going or missing all that much.
I like Goldfrapp, Mike Relm (who I met at Z-Trip show last Sat night) and the Raconteurs.
Blackswan is right, this Fest is truly unique. The opportunity to see an outdoor concert on an island in the middle of the SF Bay should not be missed. Last year the weather was perfect, the sunsets were great and the SF skyline all lit up at night was awesome.
The poster says more TBA, if they do the stages staggered like they did last year there really can't be that much more acts to announce. The staggering was great, it meant absolutely no conflicts. The green transportation was top notch, the lines moved very quickly.
I like this fest, hopefully Goldfrapp will coordinate a US tour around this date. Her schedule will be free to do it by then as well.

Sunday is amazing. I wish they'd bring TVOTR to Sunday and it'd be good to go. Give Saturday Vampire Weekend.
I will be in LA by this and I am seriously thinking about going to at least saturday. what's the drive like from north LA to san fran, like 6 hours?
When did TVOTR get big ? When I saw them at the Download Fest at the Shoreline in 2006 they were like the second band to play that day.

the lineup is pretty solid for what they can get so im pleased with it.
only thing for me is we r pre planning right now to go to ACL and alot of these groups will be at acl and acl is one week after this so i may skip this but if it falls to the side, then im here for sure.
now that you mention ACL, they should have gotten David Byrne and Brian Eno to headline Saturday and play My Life in the Bush of Ghosts LIVE!!! or their new material, whatevs... either way it would have made Saturday ultimate tits.
same here.
