HAHA The staff does do a sweep around 12:30/12:45 to push folks out of the grounds so they can begin cleanup. Usually the Do Lab/Dossier start their last performance of each night right before 12, and they generally go until security forces them to stop.

last year i didn't leave until almost 1:30am. even after the main music stops, the do-lab was still bumpin and the tesla coil was still goin. i didn't leave until the line of security started pushing people toward the door. they formed up a line shoulder to shoulder, so I remember lining up with the remaining people trying to get the row of security to play Red Rover with us.

I always end up exhausted when I leave the venue at 12:30 - 12:45, a couple more hours of music would be totally devastating...

what time did they cut the power on black star and common in 2005? right at midnight? i just remember it was late and a ton of people were already leaving

11 and a half hours of music for three days straight is plenty for me. It would be nice if bands had more of an option to go late though, just if things were rolling so well, or if they got a late start. Like it would be nice if the schedule stopped at midnight, but the curfew was at 1.

Seems like midnight is pretty standard for most fests except for Bonnaroo. Even there, I think the main stages close at midnight.

They kinda screwed dj shadow's set last year too...he was having technical issues using someone else's gear and they pulled the plug during his last set (as the clock midnite creeped up)...

That's pretty typical for them. This year, they are playing more than half of their first album AS an encore. Just ONE encore, out of several. I've seen them do 4.

Usually, when the main set is over, you're only about 60% done.

Ha...so glad Gogol played late last year. It was really cool coming out and seeing the place relatively deserted. There was still a crowd at the exit, but not too bad.

I think DJ Shadow's visuals kept going. I think I remember looking over...there was stuff on the screens and still some people at the stage, so I thought he was still going and wondered why it was so quiet.

Yeh - we did Bonnaroo last year - the music went until all hours... the DJs would go until 3-4 AM. I remember leaving to go back to camp around 2AM and a band was still playing.

bonnarooo is amazing! definitley rougher and more exhausting but my fun is usually still goin strong at 12 so i dont wanna call it quits yet so they have late nite sets from 12-3 which are AMAZING. IE last year FLAMING LIPS! Coach still brings it though and definitley a GREAT TIME!

since im offsite this year I am definitely hanging out on the grounds as late as possible, so much better to be inside watching the sights than in my car getting honked at for 2 hours...

I have to admit that kinda lame. Bonnaroo has shows starting at 2AM goin till SUNRISE! Now thats a PARTY!
