- Jack Johnson haters
- Bring this band backers
- General clique meetupers, etc

I see now. The actual root of your question was so unfounded that I answered it based on what might have been a reasonable interpretation of said question. If you're still following:

The quotes were used to emphasize the antonym of what this thread is critisizing. In this particular case, I wasn't quoting the speech of anybody, simply pointing out the ironic nature of something, which is a recognized use of quotation marks. Check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quotation_mark and scroll down to the section regarding Irony.
