Thread: Who's playing with Waters?

    Default Who's playing with Waters?

Any intel? I know Nick Mason plays with him. Will Nick be there this year?

I assume Wright would never play with him again.

    Maybe Jon Bon Jovi?
Coachella is a place beyond conventional geography, a time not measured in hours or minutes, an experience, a state of mind, an attitude, and a holy form of expression. The Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival is an annual festival put on by Goldenvoice in Indio, CA. Please don't confuse the two.

    Wikipedia is you friend:

Roger Waters – Vocals, bass guitar and acoustic guitar
Chester Kamen-Low – Guitar, bass and backing vocals
    Snowy White – Guitar
Dave Kilminster – Guitar, vocals and additional bass
Jon Carin – Synthesizer, guitar, lap steel guitar and vocals
Harry Waters – Hammond organ, synthesizer
Ian Ritchie – Saxophone, EWI and additional bass
Graham Broad – Drums and percussion
    Sylvia Mason-James - Backing vocals
    P. P. Arnold - Backing vocals
    Carol Kenyon – Backing vocals

Nick Mason played drums alongside Broad at the 12 June show in Iceland, the 29 June show in Ireland, the 1 July show in London, the 12 July show in Italy, and the 14 July show in France. During the North American tour, he performed at both Madison Square Garden shows and all three nights at the Hollywood Bowl. On The 12 May London, Earls Court Nick was introduced on stage to play set two, the whole of The Dark Side of the Moon and the encores by Waters.

Lili Haydn is playing violin. She's on Jonesy's Jukebox right now.

I hope maybe some Coachella Artists will come and sing with him.

Sharon Jones for backin vocals, Jim James to lend his soaring voice on a song...it would make the Coachella show that much more memorable. Probably wont happen though....

Any other artists that could sing with Waters?

Nick's a possibility. He's good friends with Roger and he likes expensive custom cars, and California is the place to be for that.

Then I don't think you have heard too many arguments save for the voices in your head:

After Florida, we headed off to California for the Laguna Historic races and the Pebble Beach Concours. Laguna is a fantastic circuit and I was able to benefit from a short briefing from Derek, although regarding the legendary Corkscrew corner even his ability to communicate was challenged and all he could say was, ‘You’ll just have to go out and see that one for yourself…’ Derek went on to trounce all the other drivers in the Race of Legends, confirming my belief that I had chosen the right advisor.
Mason's passion is non-hick auto racing and high end sports cars. He spends alot of time in California. There's a good chance he will be at this show.
