She added the phrase "meany head" to my profile.I hardly think I'm an attention whore.
Pirate? AM?
There are hardly ever pirate Am stations anymore (unless you're in mexico). The pirates will sit in the short spacing between the FM commercial stations. So if for example you have KRTH on 101.1 and another commercial station on 101.5, the pirate will sit on 101.3. They also are sometimes found down in the low band 87.9 - 91.1 where there is less traffic. You will know the pirate immediately - the audio usually sounds different, lower or a little distorted and most of the time there is no STEREO lock.

I heard there was gunna be one also
were there any last year?
Dude, I can't believe no one knows what she is talking about. Like 2 years ago, JACK FM was changed to Coachella Radio for the weekend. I remember seeing billboards that said "Coachella Pirate Radio" and had a radio station frequency on it. LOL Kroq is not the place to listen to Coachella bands.. try 89.9
OUTKAST 2014
Röyksopp, FC Kahuna, Télépopmusik, The Knife, RJD2, Futue Sound of London, The Avalanches, 808 State, Zero 7, Tycho, Mr. Scruff
there is 99.5 which is the alternative rock station and if you want classic rock then it is 93.7.
Dani, maybe you can answer this. In 2005 there was a local station (or it could have been a "repeated" LA station) that was playing Coachella artists all Friday night. I don't recall what station it was, but I remember the playlist was awesome. Do you (or anyone else) remember this?
