Disc Golf

Was wondering if anyone knew about any Palm Springs/Palm Desert/Indio disc golf courses?

Thought that may be a fun way to spend my Thursday out there but I wasn't sure if there were any courses in the area.

Also, if someone knows of one around there, we should get some groups together to play.

at least the Pros, carrying an arsenal of discs, are serious and straight faced about it. "Pipe down I'm calculating the distance through the trees". It's the amateurs with all their spriteful exuberance and jumping around laughing that really distract from the game.

My friends are real into it and I recently played a few times and picked up a cheap disc set from Big 5.

I lost my driver already.

The largest course in the world is about 90 minutes from my home. 7 courses of 18. I'm gonna swing out there this weekend

Cool course in golden gate park if you are going to OSL. Through eucalyptus tree branches and everything.

There is a 9 hole disc golf park at the Soccer park on Hovley in Palm Desert - google palm desert disc golf and you'll find it.

When coming into town there is an AWESOME 18 hole course in Yucaipa - $3 per person...the course is one of the best in the country.

Where is that? In your area, I really like Eden Prarie's. I played Plymouth last week, it was decent. We were trying to play in Maple Grove at Elm Creek or whatever but its not open yet. Those are the only 3 I've played in the Twin Cities area.
