2008 FESTIVAL THREAD: WHO HAS THE BEST LINEUP OVERALL?

ok since it looks like all the fests have been announced for the most part, who has the best lineup this year? not going on the location or vibe or anything else, if u look at the lineup, who has the best lineup. vote and discuss!

ok i think coachella has a great solid lineup, but the headliners are not strong at all compared to lollapalooza. and lollapalooza has done a good job with lower acts. so lolla gets the vote for now... coachella a close second..

i vote coachella for the simple fact of portishead......sure radiohead is playing lolla but they are touring the usa. is portishead? not that i have seen. Lolla and pembeeton would be a close second.

T In The Park is the best for Europe.... but......... for North America? Prob Coachella with the overall artists... Lollapalooza for the headliners.

This poll definate left out Sasquatch. I would choose Coachella over Sasquatch, but still, it should be considered a contender. Also, V-Fest Baltimore, Vancouver and Calgary all have yet to be anouced. Don't forget abouty ACL too. Not to mention Vegoose and Voodoo. And of course, there is always Bumbershoot. There are lots more festivals which have yet to be anounced.

lolla has a pretty damn solid lineup. headliners and lower billed acts. hats off to them. might have to say hello to my cousins in chicago.

Lolla's lineup is the strongest, easily.
Coachella is always the best weekend, but Lolla definitely has the best lineup.

I actually disagree. I voted Lolla and I still think it has a better lineup. It still has the best 3 headliners of any U.S. fest. Plus, there's a lot of great rock music, which some of us still prefer to electronic stuff. And I've never gotten to see Radiohead, my favorite band. I am much more excited for Lolla's lineup, but Coachella has made it a toss-up. Of course, it took millions of dollars to add Prince, Aphex, Goldfrapp to boost ticket sales and Lolla doesn't need to do that, but I guess a lineup is a lineup.

If it wasn't for the comedy, Sigur Ros, Ben Folds, and Ladytron, Bonnaroo would be useless, since Coachella has almost everything they have, and more!

Plus, Coachella has had all four of those before. Go-chella!
