SebastiAn cancels North American tour

anybody have anymore info on this? terrible, terrible news. to me this would be the most crushing cancellation yet.

as posted in the Erol Alkan forums:
"High Food regretfully announces that SebAstian has cancelled his North American tour, due to personal reasons, and thus will not be appearing at the scheduled Montreal stop Club Soda on April 17th.

Kavinsky will still be in attendance, and we will be moving the venue from CLUB SODA to CODA SOCIAL CLUB, 4119 St Laurent.

Tickets will now be 15$. For those who have already purchased tickets, we will offer a reimbursable of 7$ at the door.

We apologize for any inconvenience and hope to see you all out for what will still be an amazing show and great party with headliner Kavinsky (Fool's Gold Records) and openers DJ Cherry Cola (MTL) and A-Rock (MTL/Peer Pressure)

We will keep you updated with any information we receive.

For those who wish to have their tickets reimbursed in full, they can return to the store they purchased the ticket at, or, if the ticket was purchased from TicketPro, they may get the full ticket price refunded at the door, the night of the show.

just from checking his myspace, it appears that the "north american tour" being calcelled was bullshit- just the montreal date. MTL is no longer on his list of tour dates. toronto, new york, el paso, coachella are all still there, along with others.
I know the promoters at circa (the huge club sebastian's booked into one room of on the 18th) and I think they'd be flipping their shit (and I'd be hearing them do it) if sebastian pulled out.
we'll see.

yeah, when you click through to 'view all' on his tour dates, he's got nothing until toronto, and then only a select few dates until he's back in europe, coachella being one of the few. I wouldn't be crushed or anything if he dropped off, but s&k were good enough when they opened for DP that I put them on my list.
