I hope they come back to L.A. as Nite Versions. Saw them at Vanguard a good while back. They played an early set as Nite Versions, Then ended the night as 2 Many DJ's. Nite versions was epic and there was hardly anyone there! Maybe 50-80 people? Then it filled up for 2 Many DJ's. People had no idea what they missed.

this is awesome - have been looking and looking for new u.s. dates and didn't know about this until seeing this thread. seems highly suspicious that they'll be in nyc 2 days before APW starts ... adding any incarnation (2manydjs, soulwax, soulwax nite versions, etc.) would boost up APW bigtime for me ... adding nite versions AND 2manydjs would make me shut my mouth about the $$ i wasted on tix, etc.

calling it a soulwax dj set really isn't fair. 2manydjs go under their own name, and I think are more widely known than Soulwax?

their 2manydjs set DO kick ass though. Soulwax sets rule too, but in a different way. those brothers have some talent.

Hm, looks like Soulwax recently updated their myspace page. They list new European dates all the way through August, but they left off the 8/6 NYC show. There's a gap between 7/19 and 8/17 so I guess this must be when they'll rampage through the U.S.. They better come!!!

8/6 the Fillmore NYC
8/9 Virgin festival Baltimore

I live in Irvine. I do some pretty stupid things. A week before Coachella, my roomates were watching that food network show diners drive-ins and dives? and saw a place in Phoenix called the pitts again. Out of nowhere they were like lets fucking go. Left our place at like 12 in the morning, gambled at morongo and got to phoenix at like 6am. We waited till it opened and then came back.
