    Default Music and Instruments

Who all is planning on bringing instruments and what? Would be cool to get a big drum circle going.

You and about 20,000 other talentless drum bangers. No worries mate, you'll find plenty of other people who are willing to "play" their bongos.

agreed, theres nothing worse than the sound of idiots beating on a drum...its just silly, so please please dont. Guitarists with reasonable abilty though is a yes.

Maybe this sounds odd, but all of the reasonably-skilled guitarists who are camping should get together for a jam fest. Perhaps the melding of multiple cultures will make awesome music! I mean, just make sure you're pretty good..

Myself and a couple members of my party will likely bring guitars. We are all competent musicians and would love to play with other interested peoples. Its invigorating to meet different people in a musical context and try to absorb their ideas and background. We'll be onsite camping, an enormous jam-session/sing along should probably be organised.

who wants to drive my drums, hardware, and cymbals from toronto?

heh I kid. but yeah. I think for everyone's sanity, we leave the plinky hippie bongos at home. a bad hippie drum circle just sounds like nine thousand kids playing duck duck goose on a plastic floor

fair enough. I've been playing drums for like 9 years but I guess no one would be playing till late at night after midnight so that would get a little annoying.
