Theatrical version of Grindhouse on Starz

It looks like Starz is going to be showing the theatrical version of Grindhouse this week. They've been showing the DVD versions of both films for the past month or so, but I think this is the first chance to see the full original program at home outside of a bootleg. Plus, it'll be in HD!

Next showing I see is 12:45am Monday (Sunday night), or earlier if you get an east feed in the west.

I'm excited to see it again, even though I've got the DVDs. Definitely a case of the sum being greater than it's parts.

Shit jesus yes! I misseed it in theaters and have holding of hoping for a midnight showing, but this will do just fine.

Are they going to release it together ever? has there been talk or rumors? I heard that you can't see the mock trailers on the DVD

Watching this will be worth it for the mock trailers. Seriously, I would be in fucking heaven if Zombie turn "Secret Warewolf Women of the SS" into a real movie. I think that is what it was called anyways. Oh man... I was crying during that trailer.
I seriously hope they release the theatrical version on DVD. Grindhouse was so brilliant. The Wienstiens probably made them release it on two DVDs in order to make more money off the bat.

Tarantino is a fanboy. You'll notice that all his movies get released at least three times--every first DVD release is completely devoid of extra features, then the second has some, then the third has even more and maybe a special box or some shit... he not only like the money it makes him, but I think he legitimately enjoys buying multiple copies of the same movie himself just to have every cut, every box, etc. It'll come out in a theatrical version release. Then a special edition theatrical version release. Then ten years from now an anniversary...

Being as how we've been waiting 5 years for a Kill Bill set, I don't see this happening anytime soon.
